He said: “In these blessed days, I was keen, accompanied by a number of distinguished ministers and also hosted by the Governor of South Sinai, to visit one of the purest places on earth, which has a religious and historical reference in the conscience of all humanity, with all its sects and three heavenly religions, Islamic, Christian and Jewish. Namely, the area of the “Holy Valley of Tuwa,” “Mount Al-Tur,” Mount “Moses,” and the area of “The Greatest Transfiguration,” which is this pure and blessed point, as it is the only point on the globe in which God Almighty appeared with His noble face.

He added: “Many verses in the Holy Qur’an, in the Bible, in the Old Testament and in the Torah, spoke about the sanctity of this place, and therefore the Egyptian state, represented by Mr. President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, the President of the Republic, and the government, was keen to develop this region and to implement a project there.” It is, by all standards, a global project.”

He continued: “This area is registered within UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, and at the same time it is a “natural reserve” according to Egyptian law. Therefore, there was difficulty and complexity in implementing development work, and the need for development work to be consistent with the standards set by UNESCO. Or the standards related to it being a natural reserve, and in light of that, this wonderful design that we are witnessing today was developed.”

He added: “The whole project is designed as if it were part of nature, which has extreme privacy, and therefore the buildings were designed in such a way that they do not overshadow at all the natural and heritage dimension, the colors and existing crops, and the nature of the general site layout, and so that they are all inspired by the original place, and that The trees used in furniture are olive trees, which are mentioned in more than one place in the divine books, especially in the Holy Qur’an.

He continued: “We are here now and our background is the “Great Mountain of Transfiguration,” which is also mentioned in all the heavenly books, and it is the pure point where God Almighty appeared to our Master Moses in this area. We also visited the Monastery of St. Catherine, and it has the famous bramble tree mentioned in the heavenly books. And in the pure spot, about which the Qur’an said: “Take off your shoes, for you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa.”
