Sara Netanyahu sends a “personal” letter to Sheikha Moza regarding the hostages being held in Gaza

(CNN)– The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Monday that Sarah Netanyahu, the Prime Minister’s wife, sent a “personal” letter to Sheikha Moza, the mother of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad, in order to release the hostages held by the Hamas movement in Gaza.

According to what was published on the Israeli government website, in her letter, Sarah Netanyahu addressed Sheikha Moza, saying to her: “I call on you, in the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, to exercise your great influence in order to work on the release of the kidnapped Israeli men and women, as your contribution may be decisive in returning them to their homes. “It represents a beacon of hope for their families and an important step towards peace and reconciliation.”

She added: “Your voice and influence can greatly impact their situation, and I urge you to take a stand against such atrocities. We cannot remain silent or stand idly by when women’s dignity and safety are at stake.”

It is noteworthy that Qatar participated with Egypt and the United States in talks regarding reaching a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas before the month of Ramadan.
