Tariq Lotfy: My son refuses to talk to me because of my appearance in “Al-Ataula”

The artist Tariq Lotfy revealed the details of his role in the series “Al-Ataula”, in which he presents a character called Khadr and participates in the dramatic race in the coming month of Ramadan, alongside an elite group of stars, led by the artist Ahmed Al-Sakka.

Tariq Lotfy said in media statements: “This is the first time I am playing a popular role, and in fact there is a challenge because popular people have different characteristics other than morals, courage, and customs, which is the way they speak using their hands, and they have different terms and expressions from the usual words in my roles.”

He added: “When director Ahmed Khaled Moussa spoke to me, I liked the story very much, and I was even more happy about the presence of Ahmed Al-Sakka, because Al-Sakka is a very brotherly brother, and one of the kindest, kindest, smartest, smartest human beings you can meet in your life, and I knew that it was a great backstage and we would be patient with each other through the hassle of long hours of filming.”

Tariq Lotfy pointed out some of the challenges of filming the series “Al-Ataula,” saying: “You will see the effort being made. We have Farah, for example, and we filmed it for three full days, from night to morning.”

In response to a question about the nature of Khader’s relationship with the character Nassar, played by Ahmed El Sakka, Tariq Lotfy said: “They are very brothers and complementary to each other. Each one has his job in the story, and if one of them separates, there will be a defect in this job, and the conflict is that they should not separate, and not over… “One of them gets more status.”

Tariq Lotfy also revealed his son’s reaction to the appearance of the character Khadr, saying: “Director Ahmed Khaled and I worked on the appearance, and my young son Yassin does not like to talk to me on FaceTime now, and he says that you look like a monster and I am afraid of you, and I hope the audience likes the series.”
