The body of Habiba Al-Shamaa, the Shorouk girl, arrived at the Police Mosque in the Fifth Settlement. To perform the funeral prayer over her before she is carried to her final resting place in the family cemetery in Al-Wafa and Al-Amal in Nasr City.
The funeral of Habiba Al-Shamaa, known as the “Sunrise Girl”, was attended by her family, who appeared to be very affected, some of whom collapsed in tears, and a large number of her friends.
Habiba Al-Shamaa died from a brain hemorrhage after she was involved in a traffic accident on the Suez Road while she was riding in an Uber.
Al-Shorouk girl jumped out of an Uber driver’s car after she feared she would be harassed and kidnapped.
The security services were able to arrest the accused and refer him to the competent court, which issued a decision to renew his detention for 15 days.
