The President had assigned Dr. Mostafa Madbouly to form a new government of distinguished competencies, experiences and capabilities, working to achieve a number of goals; most notably preserving the determinants of Egyptian national security in light of regional and international challenges, and placing the file of building the Egyptian person at the top of the list of priorities, especially in the fields of health and education, and continuing efforts to develop political participation, as well as in the files of security, stability and combating terrorism, in a way that enhances what has been achieved in this regard, and developing the files of culture and national awareness, and moderate religious discourse, in a way that consolidates the concepts of citizenship and societal peace.

The President’s assignments regarding the formation of the new government included continuing the path of economic reform, with a focus on attracting and increasing local and foreign investments, encouraging private sector growth, and making every effort to limit rising prices and inflation and control markets, within the framework of comprehensive development of the country’s economic performance in all sectors.
