The General Authority of Meteorology revealed the weather conditions and temperatures during the next 6 days, and the expected weather conditions.
According to a press release issued by the Meteorology Department, the weather for the next 6 days will witness a number of different weather phenomena, most notably rain and wind.

Weather for Sunday, March 17, 2024
“Meteorology” expected that the weather condition on Sunday will witness light to moderate rain, with an incidence of approximately 40 to 50%, on areas of the northwestern coasts, northern Lower Egypt, and the Western Desert, with thunderstorms at times in areas of northern and central Upper Egypt, South Sinai, and areas of the Governorate. The Red Sea, intermittently.
The Authority also expected that the weather would witness light rain, with an incidence of approximately 30%, on areas of the northeastern coasts, southern Lower Egypt, Greater Cairo, the canal cities, and southern Upper Egypt, at intermittent intervals.
She said that the weather conditions on Sunday are affected by active winds in areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts and South Sinai, which may cause sand and dust in areas of the south of the country and the Western Desert, at intermittent intervals.

The Meteorology Department added that the weather condition next Monday will witness moderate rain and sometimes thunderstorms, with an incidence of approximately 60%, on areas of the northern coasts, northern Lower Egypt, the canal cities, central and southern Upper Egypt, the Red Sea Governorate, and Sinai, at intermittent intervals.
The Authority explained that the weather conditions next Monday will also be affected by light to moderate rain, with an incidence of approximately 40%, in areas of southern Lower Egypt, Greater Cairo, and northern Upper Egypt, at intermittent intervals.
It indicated that the weather was affected by wind activity, in all parts, at intermittent periods. Which increases the feeling of cold weather.
Weather for Tuesday, March 19, 2024
“Meteorology” continued that Tuesday’s weather was affected by light to moderate rain, with an incidence of approximately 30%, on areas of the northern coasts, Lower Egypt, the Canal cities, the Gulf of Suez, and Sinai, at intermittent intervals.
The Authority added that the weather conditions next Tuesday will witness wind activity in areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, and South Sinai, at intermittent intervals. Which increases the feeling of cold weather.

“Meteorology” continued that the weather condition, starting from next Wednesday until Friday, will witness water mist, on some agricultural and highway roads close to bodies of water leading to and from areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, the canal cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt.
