Yasmine Rais asks for prayers for Gaza in a monologue on the program “On the Stage”

Actress Yasmine Rais was a guest on the program “On the Stage” with Mona Abdel Wahab.

Yasmine said, during the program, about her Palestinian origins: “I have never hidden my Palestinian origins, and the publication of the Palestinian Authority’s passport with the events is what made people pay attention, but now it is not my right, because my family is from 1948 and they are the first people deprived of the right to return, and their file is the largest file in United nations”.

Yasmine continued: “I tried to enter Palestine more than once through my Egyptian passport, but my permit was rejected three times, until it was rejected during my attempt to obtain a permit to film a movie with director Najwa Najjar.”

At the end of the episode, Yasmine said during a short theatrical monologue: “I hope that we do not forget by praying for the people of Gaza at breakfast, and I wish from all my heart to the world love, peace and happiness.”
