Cairo – Masrawy:
The price of 21 carat gold rose by Friday evening trading in Egypt, by about 150 pounds per gram compared to morning prices, after a big jump in global gold prices.
During morning trading, the price of gold fell to about 3,200 pounds instead of 3,270 pounds per gram on Thursday evening, before it rose again in evening trading to 3,350 pounds.

14 karat gold prices rose to 2,240 pounds per gram.
The price of 18 karat gold was about 2872 pounds per gram.
The price of 21 carat gold rose to 3,350 pounds per gram.
The price of 24 karat gold increased to 3826 pounds per gram.
The price of the gold pound
The price of the gold pound increased to 26,800 pounds, and the price may vary from one merchant to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound.
Gold price globally
The price of gold rose globally to about $2,165 per ounce (an ounce is equivalent to about 31.1 grams of 24 karat), an increase of 0.24%, according to the latest update of Bloomberg data.
