The Brazilian national team achieved a major victory over its Paraguayan counterpart by four goals to one in the match that brought them together in the second round of the 2024 Copa America, which is currently being held in the United States of America and continues until next July 15.
The first half ended with Brazil leading by two goals scored by Vinicius in the 35th minute from a penalty kick and Savio in the 43rd minute. Paqueta missed a penalty kick for Brazil in the 31st minute, and Vinicius scored his second goal and Brazil’s third in the 45+3 minute, to end the half with Brazil leading by three goals.
In the second half, Paraguay tried to come back, which was achieved by Al-Diriti in the 48th minute, making the score 3-1, but Paqueta returned in the 65th minute to score the fourth goal from a penalty kick, declaring Brazil’s victory 4-1.
With this result, Brazil’s score rises to 4 points, while Paraguay’s score remains without points, at the bottom of Group 4.

Brazil started their Copa America campaign with a disappointing goalless draw against Costa Rica, earning just one point from the first round.
