Actress Mona Wassef said that she is not a strong woman and does not resemble the roles she played during her artistic career.

Mona Wassef added in her interview with the journalist Amr Adeeb in the Big Time podcast, which is shown on “mbc1” screen: “I take all the roles because I am an actress, and a woman who raises her children at home is not weak, and I have a kind of justice because of the characters, and in fact I am not A strong woman and nothing like my roles.”

She continued: “I lost my dreams, and at the same time I felt that I was leaving or staying with my husband because he prevented me from acting. I returned after he decided that I would work in the television theater only, and he prevented me from entering his room when he was working as a director on television, and Abdel Halim Hafez once came to Syrian television.” The first thing I saw was that I ran to the director’s room, who is my husband, and I told him that I saw Abdel Halim. He said to me, “I will wrap you in cellophane paper.”
