Pyramids club doctor, Mostafa El-Muniri, revealed the details of the injury of team goalkeeper Ahmed El-Shenawy.
El-Shenawy went out injured in the first half of the Al-Masry match at Burj Al-Arab Stadium, in the 22nd round of the Egyptian Premier League, and Sherif Ekramy participated in his place.
In statements to the club’s media center, Al-Muniri confirmed that the initial diagnosis of El-Shenawy’s injury was pain in the heel of the foot, which he experienced during a cross.
The doctor explained that the goalkeeper will undergo more medical examinations and x-rays on the site of the injury after the team returns to Cairo, to fully check on him.
