The Central Bank of Egypt raises daily withdrawal limits from ATMs to 30,000 pounds

The Central Bank of Egypt announced an increase in the daily maximum limit for cash withdrawals from bank branches to 250 thousand pounds for individuals and companies.
The Central Bank said in a letter sent to banks this morning that it was also decided to raise the maximum daily withdrawal from ATMs to 30 thousand pounds.
The Central Bank called on the banks to review the internal policy to reflect the new limits, while updating the policy of maximum limits for cash withdrawals in foreign currencies set by the banks, approved by the Board of Directors, and updated periodically.
