The price of gold rose today, Sunday, in Egypt during evening trading, and a gram increased by 50 pounds, compared to its prices in the middle of trading, according to what Naguib Naguib, former Secretary General of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy.
Gold prices today
14 karat gold prices rose to 2160 pounds per gram.
The price of 18 carat gold increased to 2777 pounds per gram.
The price of 21 carat gold reached 3,240 pounds per gram.
The price of 24 carat gold reached about 3703 pounds per gram.

The price of the gold pound rose to 25,920 pounds, and the price may vary from one merchant to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound.

Today is an official holiday for global stock exchanges, and they will resume work tomorrow, Monday.
The price of gold globally fell to about $2,344 per ounce (an ounce is equivalent to about 31.1 grams of 24 karat) during Friday’s trading, a decrease of 1.19%, according to the latest update of Bloomberg data.
